John Easson will, 16 August 1771

I John Easson of Annapolis Royal in the Province of Nova Scotia Merchant now in London and shortly bound back to the said Province Do this sixteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy one Revoke all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made And Do make and Publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) First I will and direct that all my Just Debts and funeral Expenses be fully paid and satisfied, And I Subject Charge and make liable my whole Real and personal Estate to and with the Payment thereof And I give devise and bequeath All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Estate and Effects both Real and Personal of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever unto my two Sons David Easson of Annapolis Royal aforesaid Merchant andWilliam Easson of Finch Lane London Gentleman their Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns forever to be equally divided between them share and share alike and to take as Tenants in Common and not as Joint Tenants, And I do nominate and appoint said two Sons Executors of this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto and to another part hereof set my hand and Seal the said Sixteenth day of August 1771-
