Furniture design within the Georgian Period (1714–1830) was dominated by the talent of three men: Thomas Chippendale, George Hepplewhite and Thomas Sheraton. Mr. Patterson’s collection includes fine examples of the styles created by these gifted cabinetmakers. Join us as we examine the characteristics of these exquisite pieces of furniture.

Young English elites of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries often travelled Europe in an effort to broaden their horizons and learn about language, architecture, geography, and culture.
