This book tells of the descendants of Adam Schaffner who was born in 1702 in Palatinate, Lower Rhine Germany and died in 1782 in Lower Granville, NS.

Adam, a “Foreign Protestant” came to Halifax in 1751 and then settled in Lunenburg, NS. From there, the Schaffner family came to Granville Township in 1770.
