Joel Webber will, 26 January 1825

Here is a transcription of the will of Joel Webber of Granville dated 26 January 1825:
In the name of God Amen I Joel Webber of Granville in the County of Annapolis and Province of Nova Scotia Mariner Do make and Publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say I give Devise and bequeath to my Wife Abigail Webber and to her heirs and assigns for Ever my part of house Lot number Forty five in the Township of Granville being the Western half of said House Lot together with all the Buildings and appurtenances now belonging to the same (excepting a small orchard hereinafter Devised to my Son Joseph Webber) I also give devise and bequeath to my said Wife Abigail Webber and to her Heirs and assigns forever all my Stock of Cattle and Sheep Household Goods and Furniture Farming Crop and implements, Debts and every thing comprising my Personal Estate charging the same with my just Debts and Funeral Expences Item I give Devise and bequeath to my Son Joseph Webber a Small orchard containing about one Acre of Land fenced in, part of the Western half of House lot number Forty five in Granville aforesaid bounded Southwardly by the Public Highway Westwardly by Land of Lieutenant Hudson Northwardly by part of said half of Lot number Forty five and Eastwardly by a Small plot of Land now or late belonging to Valentine Troop charging the said Joseph Webber and his Heirs with keeping up the whole of the Fence round the same adjoining the said Western half of House Lot number Forty five, Item I give Devise and bequeath to my Daughter Ann Webber Two Ewe Sheep at my Decease And I make constitute and ordain my said Wife Abigail Webber Sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 26th Day of January AD 1825
