DESCRIPTION:Our beloved and much anticipated celebration of the colour and simplicity of Christmas at the end of the Victorian era is taking place again this year at the O’Dell Museum. As usual\, our journey back to the holidays of a different time will be held over two weekends. \nThe festivities take place from 7 to 9 pm on both Friday\, November 30 and Saturday\, December 1. On December 2you can visit from 2 pm to 4 pm. \nThe museum will also be open Friday\, December 7 and Saturday\, December 8 from 7 pm to 9 pm. On Sunday\, December 9\, you can visit from 2 pm to 4 pm. \nThere will be hot mulled cider and homemade cookies as well as carols sung beside the 1885 Annapolis Organ Company parlour organ. \nBring your family and uphold the truly magical Christmas tradition we began more than 30 years ago!

DESCRIPTION:Our beloved and much anticipated celebration of the colour and simplicity of Christmas at the end of the Victorian era is taking place again this year at our O’Dell House Museum. As usual\, our journey back to the holidays of a different time will be held over two weekends. \nThe festivities take place from 7 to 9 pm on both Friday\, November 26th and Saturday\, November 27th. On November 28th you can visit from 2pm to 4pm. On the next weekend\, the museum will be open Friday\, December 3rd and Saturday\, December 4th from 7pm to 9pm. On Sunday\, December 5th\, you can visit from 2pm to 4pm. There will be hot mulled cider and homemade cookies as well as carols sung beside the 1885 Annapolis Organ Company parlour organ. \nBring your family and uphold the truly magical Christmas tradition we began more than 30 years ago!

An interesting combination of local folklore and entertainment\, this family event is great for kids and adults. \nThe Sinclair Inn Museum is closed for the season now but skulls\, tombstones\, spiders\, rats and the odd dismembered limb make a fine background for the one-armed soldier\, the lady in the rocking chair\, the Gray Lady of Granville and the ghost pirate guarding his treasure! \nThe Haunted House is open Friday and Saturday evenings — October 22\, 23\, 29 and 30 — from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. Wayne has just finished his first season as a guide at North Hills\, but he has previously worked for the National Gallery of Canada and has wonderful background in decorative arts. His topic for the evening will be the artifact collections at North Hills. \nThe Annual General Meeting is also an excellent opportunity to learn about the ongoing activities of the Annapolis Heritage Society\, volunteer opportunities and where we are going over the next year.
