The show grounds feature a wide grassy lawn to park and display your vehicles alongside the beautiful heritage property. Indoor public washrooms and shaded areas are available. Food will be available for purchase on-site. \nAll vehicles are welcome: Antiques\, Hotrods\, Customs\, Trucks\, Motorcycles\, and Tractors! \nVehicle registration begins at 9:30am. A registration fee of $10/vehicle applies.

Gingerbread artists of all ages are invited to compete for prize ribbons in several unique categories. \nYou can fill out the entry form here: https://forms.gle/ZCjXFbF2pvfKXk6s6 \nYou can also send us an email at annapolisheritage@gmail.com to request a registration form or inquire further about the competition. \nEntry forms must be submitted by 4pm on Friday November 22nd.\n\nGingerbread creations must be delivered to the O’Dell House Museum for judging by 4pm on Thursday November 28th. Winners will be announced at the O’Dell House Museum on November 29th at 7pm. Entries will be displayed until Sunday December 1st\, at which time the People’s Choice Award will be announced.\n\n\nPrizes:\n– Top 3 Creations per Age Category (chosen by judges)\n– Best Use of Historic Architecture (chosen by judges)\n– Most Unique Decorating Ingredient (chosen by judges)\n– Best Use of Colour (chosen by judges)\n– People’s Choice (voted by the public)\n \nRestrictions: Entries must be placed on a base (such as a plate or plywood board)\, which can support the weight of the entry. Entries combined with a base must not be larger than 24 inches high\, 24 inches wide\, and 24 inches long. Everything above the base of your entry must be composed completely of edible materials. The main structure of your entry must be constructed of at least 75% gingerbread. Edible materials are not limited to candies and icings. Be creative!\n\n\n\n\nGood luck & happy decorating!

SUMMARY:Pony Express 175th Anniversary Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the O’Dell House Museum on October 17th to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Nova Scotia Pony Express. Step back in time to the mid-Victorian era and tour the home of Pony Express Rider Corey O’Dell. On display will be memorabilia from the 150th anniversary celebration\, furnishings belonging to the O’Dell family\, and the original Entertainment House sign. \nA horse exchange and proclamation will take place at 11:00 am\, followed by a ceremonial cannon firing. The museum will be open until 1:00 pm for tours. Light refreshments will be provided. \nWe hope to see you there! \nAHS is proud to be taking part in this county-wide celebration.
